I'm not very picky. I just watch or read whatever that comes my way first.
Manga is usually better in terms of plot and the details. Some anime changes the manga plot and the character design is not as good as in the manga.
Anime is nice because you can enjoy the motion of the story. Nowadays, the anime graphics are good with all the 3d effects and nice OST. Professional voice casters can make an anime worth watching when they really portray the characters in a way they should be.

I always read the manga first then watch the anime since the manga versions always have the original story. Plus, I'm a more avid fan of manga than anime so I definitely prefer manga.

I like watching animes because they move and I can hear theire voise not like manga they just picture even thought the draw at manga is more beautiful than anime ...

If it has anything to do with romance i will always read the manga first because usually the anime cuts bits out. e.g Suzuka.
