I can't live 
if I have to delete any anime cause it is really precious to me. My hard drive had dis cyclic redundancy problem b4 and I look like I had this black aura for weeks.
hard to recover.. Now, I burn all the anime in Dvd to avoid the same tragedy..

A great advice indeed... But won't the case caused the external hard disk to keep too much heat and destroy the data inside?

Well if ur the type to keep the anime you watch its better that you buy those heavy tankard external HD like 1TB to store everything. Or maybe separates of 500GB if it's possible. I have 2 internal HD on my desktop and i store anime on both of em. This way even if i lose 1 HD i still have anime on my other HD ![smiley of ahaha]( "ahaha")

I heard about a raid external hdd that has 2 500 gb drives inside but it looks lke one drive. On this external hdd all the data is mirrored so anything you put on it will be copied to both hard drives so if one fails you still have the other. I think it was like RAID II or something.
