For people that are interested in learning Japanese best thing is do not try to translate Japanese into English keep it in English form and when you do this it will make your head hurt but is good also you must live in japan living in japan make you learn fast maybe 1-2 months depends how often u go outside or have people you are around that speak it all the time

I think watching lots of animes/chanbara movies, listen to lots of JPops, and attend a course or two will do wonders...
