I want to learn it too and will when I finish college,I will go to a course and learn it.Right now is impossible because I'm already learning three languages,another one would make a chaos in my head ![smiley of noway]( "noway")
So my suggestion is to have someone teach you but if you don't have time for that,try alone.Get a good book that is easy to understand or a good internet guide(internet is full of those)and see how much can you do by yourself ![smiley of umm]( "umm")

Well in my case I want to learn japanese because there is something attractive about it and it's a very interesting language and I like how it sounds ![smiley of tea]( "tea")

well, i'd started by memorizing the basic characters but there's still a lot of kanji char to deal with... i dun know where should i start ![smiley of stress]( "stress")

i'll study japanese once i've finshed my career.. which is too demanding... of course i'll go to an acadmy or sth :s ... self-studying it woul be like commiting suicide =(((
