Not really that clued up on dorama these days.
The one that springs to mind that is mainly action/comedy is "My Boos, My Hero". I certainly had a good laugh at the absurdity of the plot. Something you can relax and watch without thinking too much, unlike many of the other popular dorama that I know of.

I don't really watch much drama but maybe you can give "Gokusen" a try...it's a hilarious story about a Yakuza being a teacher...

Maybe yamato nadeshiko shiche henge..
the story was about 4 good looking men try too change a spooky girl who loves horror to become a lady..

I think Yamada Monogatari is really good for you since it has quite good sense of humor and make you just laugh till the last episode...![smiley of ahaha]( "ahaha")

I think hat depends to you love live action or cartoon...if you love live action TV shows then drama is your style. I more like cartoon lor ~ even I am not young anymore

My advice is start with the legendary shows first and make your way to the new shows (more recent). That way you appreciate the genre.
I suggest GTO (Great Teacher Onizaki), Allison & Lillia, Honey and Clover, Ef-Melodies, Mitchiko to Hatchin & Bakemonogatari.. For laughing your head off purposes go for Daily Lives of High School Boys and Kaichou no Maid Sama

.. It also about real life issues and plots (Slice of Life),touching stories (Drama & Romance) and funny unforgetable moments (comedy and Ecchi(+harem))
